Double chocolate cake recipe

The cake is everyone’s favorite dessert. There are so many flavors and shapes come in cake my favorite flavor is chocolate. And my son lies chocolate chip cake. So I mix both flavors together and make a new flavor double chocolate cake with lots of chocolate chips and cocoa powder in this recipe.

Baking is my passion I love to bake a different variety of cake and cookies. Every time I want to make the new flavors so I tried this flavor and the results come so nice. This cake is very yummy so many friends tried this recipe and everyone is happy with the taste and texture of this cake.

Double chocolate cake is a soft, spongy cake made from plain flour and cocoa powder. This cake is full of chocolate flavor. This cake is best for all chocolate loves. I always bake this cake at home.

Double chocolate cake is a vegan cake. If you want you can add milk instead of water and you can add dry fruits in this cake. This cake is caked in the oven also you can make this cake in a cooker.

Step by step photo guide for Lava chocolate cake recipe

Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Take a round baking tin 6-inch pan to apply butter and butter paper

In a bowl take plain flour or maida and sieve it

Add sugar in maida

Dry ingredients are ready keep it aside

Now in another bowl add oil and water mix it .

Add a dry ingredient to wet ingredient and fold it.

Now, add vanilla essence and mix it

Next, add baking soda and lemon juice quickly mix it.

Now pour the batter in the cake tin.

Place cake tin in oven at 180 degrees. Bake it for 30 to 35 min up to the toothpick come clear.

Ingredients
  

  • Maida 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1cup
  • Oil 1/3 cup
  • Hot water 1 cup
  • Baking soda 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar/lemon juice 1 tbs
  • Choco chip 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes.

  • Take maida, cocoa powder, and baking powder and sieve it keep it aside
  • Now in another bowl add oil and water mix it and sugar mix it.
  • Now add a dry ingredient to the wet ingredient and fold it.

  • Next, add baking soda and vinegar or lemon juice mix it quickly.
  • Lastly, add choco-chip mix it
  • Now pour the batter in the cake tin.
  • Place in oven
  • Bake it for 30 to 35 min up to the toothpick come clear.
  • Once a toothpick comes clear it means the cake is baked
  • Cool down on the rack.
