The cake is everyone’s favorite dessert. There are so many flavors and shapes come in cake my favorite flavor is chocolate. And my son lies chocolate chip cake. So I mix both flavors together and make a new flavor double chocolate cake with lots of chocolate chips and cocoa powder in this recipe.
Baking is my passion I love to bake a different variety of cake and cookies. Every time I want to make the new flavors so I tried this flavor and the results come so nice. This cake is very yummy so many friends tried this recipe and everyone is happy with the taste and texture of this cake.

Step by step photo guide for Lava chocolate cake recipe
Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Take a round baking tin 6-inch pan to apply butter and butter paper
In a bowl take plain flour or maida and sieve it
Next sieve cocoa powder, and baking powder
Add sugar in maida
Dry ingredients are ready keep it aside
Now in another bowl add oil and water mix it .
Add a dry ingredient to wet ingredient and fold it.
Now, add vanilla essence and mix it
Next, add baking soda and lemon juice quickly mix it.
Lastly, add choco-chip mix it
Double chocolate cake batter is ready.
Now pour the batter in the cake tin.
Place cake tin in oven at 180 degrees. Bake it for 30 to 35 min up to the toothpick come clear.
Once a toothpick comes clear it means the cake is baked
Cool down on the rack. The cake is ready to serve…

- Cake tin
- Maida 1 and 1/2 cup
- Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
- Sugar 1cup
- Oil 1/3 cup
- Hot water 1 cup
- Baking soda 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar/lemon juice 1 tbs
- Choco chip 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
