Healthy Whole Wheat Banana Cake
Vegan banana cake is soft and spongy cake made from basic ingredients like whole wheat flour, baby banana and sugar. Banana cake is the best tea time snack recipe or kids tiffin recipe.
This cake recipe is made without Eggs or daily product; yes, all vegetarian lovers who want to try something different must try this recipe. This cake is super delicious cake. No blender needed for this cake. My family loves Banana cake as afternoon snacks recipe. Banana cake is soft, spongy cake.
Ingredients for Vegan Banana Cake
Main ingredient of this banana cake is bananas. For today’s banana cake recipe I used baby bananas. These small tiny bananas are more sweet in taste and creamier than big size banana. Whole wheat flour is healthy option than all purpose flour.
No dairy products like milk or butter is used to make this recipe. This cake is the best option for Vegan diet. If you like to add nuts you can add your choice of nuts I personally like walnut with banana cake so I preferred chopped walnut.

Wet Ingredient Mixing
- In a bowl peel out baby banana skin.
- Mash banana with help of fork.
- Add oil and mix well.
- Add water and mix it nicely.
- Add sugar mix it nicely. All ingredients are ready.
Dry Ingredient
- In a bowl, take whole wheat flour.
- Add instant oats to whole wheat flour.
- Add baking soda and mix well.
- Dry Ingredients are ready.
Making Cake Batter
- Mix wet ingredient to dry ingredients.
- Add vanilla essence and mix well.
Baking Vegan Banana Cake
- Pour cake batter in 6 inch cake tin.
- Keep some walnut and gently press.
- Cake batter is ready for baking.
- Bake banana cake in preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Insert toothpick and check if toothpick comes clear that means cake is baked.
- Banana cake is nicely baked.
- Cool down cake completely consume within 2 to 3 days.

Ingredients
- 6 Baby Banana Use 3 Big Banana Instead of Baby Banana
- 1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/4 cup Instant Oats
- 3/4 tbs Sugar
- 1/2 Water
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 3 tbsp Walnut
Instructions
- Peel banana skin.
- Mash banana with the help of fork.
- Add Oil and mix well.
- Add Water and mix nicely.
- Lastly, add sugar and mix well.
- Now, take whole wheat flour in a big bowl.
- Add instant oats.
- Add baking soda and mix well.
- Now add banana mixture to dry ingredients.
- Add vanilla essence and mix nicely.
- Cake batter is ready.
- Pour batter in 6 inch cake tin.
- Spread some walnut and press gently with fork.
- Bake cake in preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 25-30 minutes.
- Insert toothpick and check cake is baked.Notes- If toothpick is clear means cake is baked.
- Banana cake is nicely baked.
- Cool down cake completely.
- Consume within 2-3 days.
