There is a big confusion between canned chickpea or chickpea are good for hummus. For quick and instant hummus I prefer canned chickpea as it saves time for soaking and cooking chickpea. Canned chickpea are perfectly cooked as it saves time to make a hummus recipe.

Strain canned chickpea.
Add chickpea to a food processor.
Pour aquafaba or boiled chickpea water into a food processor.
Blend chickpea in a food processor or blender for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Add hot water to a food processor.
Blend for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add olive oil in food processor.
Add cumin powder and salt to a food processor.
Blend for 1 minute.
Add lemon juice to a food processor. And, blend it nicely.
Lastly, add minced garlic.
Blend for 2 to 3 minutes until nice creamy hummus is formed.
Creamy hummus is ready.
Pour olive oil on hummus.
Garnish with chili flakes.
Hummus is ready to serve.

- 1 cup Canned chickpea
- 1/4 cup Aquafaba
- 3 tbsp Hot water
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Garlic minced
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Chili flakes for garnish
Instructions
- In a strainer , strain canned chickpea .
- Add chickpea in food processor or blender .
- Add aquafaba or boiled chickpea water.
- Blend for 3 minutes until chickpea are smoothly blend.
- Add hot water and blend for 2 more minutes.
- Add olive oil .
- Add cumin powder and salt.
- Blend for 1 minute.
- Add lemon juice and blend together.
- Lastly , add minced garlic and blend for 2 -3 minutes.
- Until , nice creamy hummus is ready.
- Consume within 2-3 days.
