Additionally, it is miraculously beneficial for diabetic patients because of its less glycemic content. Having Amla infused as an Amla Chutney is the most common way of consuming it. You must be thinking, How to have this tangy and bitter chutney or with which dish you can combine it. But don’t worry, this recipe of amla chutney is complimented with jaggery and will give it a sweet and sour taste. In some regions, it is also infused with green chilies, which makes this chutney extra spicy and a fiery accompaniment of both rice and roti.

1.Take 7-8 Amla for making Amla Chutney.

2.Grate Amla finely.

3.Heat the Pan and add oil to it.

4.Now add Mustard Seeds to heated oil.

5.Add Cumin Seeds to it.

6.For spiciness, add Chili Powder to it.

7.Sauté all the ingredients well and add the grated Amla to them.

8.Add salt to it.

9.Mix all the ingredients well.

10.At last, add Jaggery to it.

12.Cook all the ingredients well until Chutney dry completely.

  • 7-8 Amla
  • 1 TBSP Oil
  • ¼ Cup Mustard Seeds
  • ½ TBSP Cumin Seeds
  • 1 TBSP Chili Powder
  • 3 TBSP Jaggery
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take 7-8 Amla for making Amla Chutney.
  • Grate Amla finely.
  • Heat the pan and add oil to it.
  • Now add Mustard Seeds to heated oil.
  • Add Cumin Seeds to it.
  • For spiciness, add Chili Powder to it.
  • Sauté all the ingredients well and add the grated Amla to them.
  • Add salt to it.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • At last, add Jaggery to it.
  • Mix well.
  • Cook all the ingredients well until Chutney dry completely.
