Most of the time we have rice leftover and always think to make something from that leftover rice. We would not want to throw this healthy food, this recipe is a healthy rice cutlet from fresh rice or leftover rice.

There are many recipes from leftover rice but not most of them are healthy, so I am come up with healthy recipe from leftover rice or fresh rice which is totally vegetarian.

In a bowl add cooked rice

Next add potato

Add chili powder , to make it spicy you can add more chili power and fresh chilies.

Now add turmeric powder

add some chaat masala.

1/2 tbs cumin powder

Lastly add salt as per taste.

Mix well make a dough

Apply oil on hand and make lemon size ball and press it on hand to make cutlet.

Ingredients

To Make 15 CUTLETS

  • 1 1/2 Cooked rice
  • 2 Boiled potato
  • 3 tbs Spinach
  • 3 tbs Carrot
  • 3 tbs Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 3 tbs Oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl add cooked rice
  • mashed rice nicely
  • Next, add potato
  • mix rice and potato
  • Add carrot
  • Now add spinach
  • add some Coriander leaves.
  • Mix everything properly
  • Add chili powder
  • Now add turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
  • add some chaat masala.
  • Lastly, add salt as per taste
  • Mix well make a dough
  • Apply oil on hand
  • Take lemon size ball make and press it on hand to make a cutlet.
  • Apply oil on a griddle.
  • Shallow fry cutlet griddle.
  • Cook from both sides.
  • Enjoy cutlet with sauce.

Notes

1. Use any rice fresh or leftover is fine to make a healthy rice cutlet.
2.Instead of potato use paneer or oats.
