Baby Corn Manchurian recipe is a classic Indo-Chinese dish that employs the natural flavor of baby corn deliciously. The use of chili peppers and garlic powder provides a spicy flavor to the plate while maintaining the sweet taste of the baby corn. This recipe is best served with steamed rice.
Baby corn Manchurian dry recipe
If you’re a vegetarian, then Baby Corn Manchurian is one of your go-to starter dishes. As a dish, it’s made by deep-frying pieces of baby corn in a mix of spices and sauces until they’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
There is a long and winding story behind the making of this baby corn recipe. After much research, I came up with a new cooking stove and setup on my cooking channel. I wanted to start creating some new tasty recipes on this new setup, but first, I needed to test it.
After setting everything up, I wrote my recipe, ingredients, steps, etc., and started cooking. But during recording, I missed one video shot to record. This new setup made me a little nervous, and I learned from the experience, but it was worth it because it came out just as yummy as before when I tried the recipe again.
Baby Corn Manchurian Dry Or Gravy?
The dry baby corn Manchurian recipe that I’m going to show you is made to be served with a gravy-style sauce. It’s unnecessary to add water to make it gravy, but you need to adjust multiple ingredients to create the perfect sauce for this dish.
Manchurian always comes with dry and gravy patterns and makes everyone confused that dry or gravy? Sometimes easy for my family, we mostly like dry baby corn Manchurian and always have veg Manchurian as gravy as a side dish for rice and noodles.

Step-by-step photo guide: How to make dry baby corn Manchurian
To make the perfect baby corn Manchurian there are two steps
Step 1 To fry baby corn.
Step 2 To prepare the sauce.
Step 1 –
Cut baby corn into 2 pieces.
In a bowl take baby corn.
Add maida or plain flour.
Next , add corn flour.
Add ginger-garlic paste.
Add chili powder and salt.
Now , add soy sauce .
Slowly, add water and make thick batter.
Batter is ready.
In a pan, add oil.
Once oil is hot fry baby corn in oil.
Fry 6-7 baby corn pieces at a time.
Fry baby corn on low gas flame .
Fry baby corn until crisp and golden brown in color.
Fried baby corn are ready . Keep them aside .
Now in a pan add sesame oil .
Once oil is hot add Ginger garlic paste . Sauté for a minute .
Add chopped onion .Saute onion .
Add carrot and capsicum .Cook for 2 minutes.
Now add tomato Ketchup, chili sauce , soy sauce and Vinegar.
Mix well. Manchurian sauce is ready.
Add fried baby corn .Mix well.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Corn manchurian is ready.

Dry baby corn recipe | How to make restaurant style corn manchurian at home
- For fried baby corn
- 12 -15 Baby corn
- 3/4 cup Maida / Plain flour
- 2 Tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbs Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chili sauce
- Oil for frying
- For Manchurian sauce
- 2 Tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 small size Onion chopped
- 2-3 tbsp Carrot diced
- 2-3 tbsp Capsicum
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketch up
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
- Coriander leaves for garnish
