  Nowadays I am trying more healthy and quick recipes for my lunch and dinner . Cherry tomatoes are easy to cook and by look, they look awesome. Nowadays my son doesn’t like to eat raw tomatoes in a salad or in soup or on days. So one day I bring small cherry tomatoes he loves them as they are small in size. The small size of cherry grapes tomatoes is perfect for kids’ mouths. And we actually bite cherry tomatoes juice bust in your mouth with the zest of garlic and fresh basil leaves. 

   You can make plenty of cherry tomatoes recipes like cherry tomato pasta, tomato pasta basil, cherry tomatoes sauce recipe, and so on.

  Benefit of cherry  tomatoes 

Cherry tomatoes are full of Vitamin A and C. They are rich in potassium and minerals. Tomatoes are good for high blood pressure patients.  In the weight loss program, we can add cherry tomatoes as they are very low in calories. Every day we need to add a small amount of Vitamin C to our diet and cherry tomatoes are the best option to fulfill the quantity of Vitamin C.

Prepare Sautéed cherry tomatoes 

  Sautéed cherry tomatoes are 5 minutes recipe. Only a few ingredients and few minutes in the kitchen and a nice eye-catchy mouth-watering side dish are ready. For making Sautéed cherry tomatoes you’re going to need garlic, basil, cherry grape tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Instead of olive and garlic, you can use homemade garlic olive oil for cooking cherry grape tomatoes.

If you like you can add feta cheese to the recipe. Instead of cherry tomatoes, you can add normal tomatoes diced in big chunks.  

Garlic and fresh basil leaves give a fresh taste to cherry tomatoes. I prefer always extra virgin olive oil for making any Sautéed as extra virgin olive oil gives a nice taste to tomatoes.

Step by step photo guide

Wash cherry tomatoes.


In a pan add oil.

Once oil is hot add minced garlic.

Sauté garlic.

Add black pepper powder and salt to a pan.

Mix well.

Add cherry tomatoes to the pan.

Mix well. On low gas flame cook for 2 minutes, until wrinkles appear on cherry tomatoes.

Add a hand full of Basil leaves.

Cook for another one minute.

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Basil leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • Salt

Instructions
