Vegetarian Schezwan fried rice
Indian Chinese cuisine is world-famous cuisine all spicy lots of vegetable makes Indian Chinese cuisine special. I love Indian Chinese cuisine. I ate first-time schezwan fried rice in my early college days and I love the spicy taste of rice.
From my college days, I make Indian Chinese cuisine specially Manchurian and schezwan rice. In 2006-07 most people from my house don’t know how to cook Indian Chinese food at that time I started to make this food. So I went to any of the relative houses they said oh you know how to make schezwan rice and Manchurian, so make it for us and I need to cook for them.

Schezwan sauce is the main ingredient while making schezwan fried rice. It gives you excellent taste more you salute all vegetables. So salute is a very important action in all Indian Chinese recipes.
Now you also know from the last 15 years I am making Indian Chinese food. Schezwan rice is a nice blend of mixed vegetables and spiciness. It is really spicy rice. You can make it spicier by adding more amount of schezwan sauce. Schezwan sauce plays an important role in this rice.

Step by Step photo guide of how to make schezwan fried rice
In a pan add oil .
When oil is hot add garlic
next add Ginger and Saute for 2 minutes .
now add white onion
Add bell pepper and saute for 2 minutes.
now add spring onion
Add some carrots
Now add celery
Put some french beans
Now add some red chilies
Saute for 2 minutes
Add schezwan sauce
now add tomato ketchup.
Mix everything and salute properly , and 1 cup of water
Once water start boiling add rice
Add Salt as per taste.
Cook rice until it get soft.
Schezwan rice is ready.
Serve it with schezwan sauce and spring onion top on it.
Homemade veg Schezwan fried rice recipe card
Ingredients
For 2 people
- 1/2 Cup Basmati rice
- 1 tbs White onion finely chopped
- 3 tbs Red bell pepper
- 3 tbs Carrot
- 3 tbs Spring onions
- 2 tbs Celery
- 2 tbs French beans
- 2 Red chilli
- 1 Ginger
- 1 Garlic
- 3 tbs Schezwan sauce
- 1 tbs Tomato ketchup
- Salt
Instructions
- In a pan add oil .
- When oil is hot add garlic
- next add Ginger and Saute for 2 minutes .
- now add white onion
- Add bell pepper and saute for 2 minutes.
- now add spring onion
- Add some carrots
- Now add celery
- Put some french beans
- Now add some red chilies
- Saute for 2 minutes
- Add schezwan sauce
- now add tomato ketchup.
