Homemade Strawberry Jelly recipe
Strawberry Jelly is made with 3 simple ingredients only. You can make this recipe at home and store it for along time. The Strawberry Jelly recipe has no preservatives, so your kid can have it safely.
My kid is a huge fan of candies and jellies. I simply cannot control his cravings for these tiny treats. Every time he comes with me to the grocery shopping I return home with a bag loaded with candies and jellies. I pretty much think he can have them throughout the day and yet not bored, and I wonder when he will control his sweet tooth.
I have a habit of reading labels of processed food products to get an idea about the nutrition value and content of it , before buying the stuff, but I always end up reading it at home during leisure and, I always shop in a hurry. Hope I will be able to change it someday.
More about Strawberry jelly recipe
Anyways, coming to the jellies that came loaded in my bag I was stunned to read the label. It has zero nutrition and is packed with preservatives and artificial food dyes. It was so stupid of me to let me kid have these things for such a long time. I decided not anymore.
With the kitchen savvy mamma that I am (at least my kid believes so), I thought of making identical candies at home. It didn’t happen like that. I had to go through lots of experiences and trials. Then I came across this natural edible gum agar-agar that is used to make candies. It is safe and healthy too.
After sharing my experience with this recipe, I will now share the actual recipe with you all. It is super easy. You can make it with 5 simple ingredients only. Try it out and share your experiences with me.
