Chyawanprash is healthy and helps for the immunity boost. Ready-made Chyawanprash sometimes has some toxic preservative ingredients, which make healthy more worst then helping to boost it. This is why I always preferred to make chyawanprash at home. This Homemade chyawanprash recipe has easily available ingredients in everyone’s kitchen.
Chyawanprash is word enough for everyone in India. All kids from India eats chyawanprash as an immunity booster and for brain supplement. Mostly we purchase chyawanprash from the shop, but one day I was reading about chyawanprash ingredients. I saw it’s easy to make it at home we make it at home. We can make it at home with basic ingredients which we get easily at home.
I give it my friend and family all are saying taste is super and it’s same like they purchase from shop .

Chyawanprash is a health supplement made from amla or gooseberry as the main ingredient. There are so many ingredients used in Chyawanprash.

Step by step photo guide of how to make Homemade Chyawanprash
In a pan add water and amla
Boil amla until they get soft
Strain amla and take out the seed of amla.
Now blend amla and make a smooth puree.
Now in grinder jar Add bay leaf and javitri
Add black cardamom and dry ginger
Now ,Add black pepper and long pepper
Add licorice or jestamadh
Add nutmeg and green cardamom
Now, Add cinnamon and clove
Add fennel seeds and saffron
Grind spices and make a powder.
Sieve powder.
Spice powder is ready
Take out the seed of dates
In a blender add dates and raisins and make a fine paste.
Now in a heavy bottom pan on low flame add ghee
Once the ghee is melted add amla puree
Next, add jaggery and honey.
And dates paste.
Mix well.
Now add Brahmi powder
Add sesame oil mix well
Now, add spices powder and mix well.
Cook until chyawanprash changes color.
And, chyawanprash leaves sides of the pan .
Chyawanprash is ready. Once cool down store it in an airtight bottle.

- 22 Amla
- 1 1/2 cup Jaggery
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 6 tbs Ghee
- 1 tbs Brahmi powder
- 20 Raisins
- 10 Dates
- 2 stick Cinnamon
- 20 Clove
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 10 Green Cardamom
- 10 Black pepper
- 5 Long pepper
- 2 Dry Ginger
- 3 Bayleaf
- Saffron a pinch
- 3 tbs Sesame oil
- 1 stick Licorice
- Nutmeg small piece
- 1 flower Javitri
- 1 tbs Fennel seed
Instructions
- In a pan add water and amla
