Coconut Macaroons are a simple and easy recipe that can be prepared within 20 minutes. They are a perfect little snack or dessert and only require a few ingredients that you may already have in your kitchen. Making macaroons is fun.
Add dry ingredient maida or Plain flour, only half cup.
0.5 CUP Maida / Plain Flour
Add Half a cup of condensed milk to it.
0.5 CUP Condensed Milk or Sweetened condensed milk
Stir it until it mixes well
Add Option ingredient baking powder. After you added baking powder, stir to mix it well. If you'd like, you can skip this step and proceed to the next one.
1 TSP Baking Powder
Finally, add our main ingredient, Two and a Half cup of Shredded coconut. Once you add it, mix it well. Don't add water or milk even if you feel your dough is dry. Mix it continuously, and your dough will be ready.
2.5 CUP Shredded Coconut
Shaping macaroons
For shaping, you would need a tablespoon; keep coconut macaroon dough inside a tablespoon and press it gently; arrange the mixture on butter paper/Baking sheet spacing between each macaroon will be min 2 inches.
Tip: Using a tablespoon makes macaroons in the same shape. tablespoon shapes macaroons in small sizes, and it bakes quickly and tastes crispy.
Baking
Preheat oven to 250 degrees celsius for 10 mins. Keep the baking tray with all the small coconut macaroons ready to bake inside an oven.
Bake macaroons for 10 mins at temperature 200-degree celsius.
Bake it until the macaroons change their color to brown.
Your delicious and crispy coconut macaroons are ready to eat.
