Instructions
To prepare the sugar syrup, add sugar and water in a pan.
Heat it while stirring, till the sugar dissolves.
Now add green cardamom and let it simmer. Sugar syrup is ready.
Take fresh khoya and knead it with hands to soften it.
When the khoya softens, add grated paneer to it and knead again.
Add semolina to the dough and again knead it to mix everything well.
Then add plain flour to the dough and knead again to make it smooth.
You can add a spoon of water if the dough dries up while kneading. Soft dough makes soft gulab jamuns.
Finally add baking powder to the dough and knead it again.
Divide the dough into equal portions and make softballs for gulab jamun
In pan heat ghee until it melts.
Then fry the gulab jamun balls until they turn evenly golden brown
Now drop each ball in the sugar syrup and let it rest for some time to soak the syrup in.
When the Gulab jamuns swell up, they are ready to be served
