Whole Wheat flour Healthy Jeera Biscuits recipe is an eggless healthy biscuit recipe These biscuits are made with whole wheat flour and cumin seeds. They are easy to make and require only a few ingredients. The dough is rolled out and cut into desired shapes. Then, it is baked until golden brown. These biscuits are crunchy and have a mild savory flavor from the cumin. They are best enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee. They also make a great snack for kids.
First, Grab a bowl and pour 1/4 cup of Oil into it
Add 1/2 cup of jaggery to the mixture and stir it well.
Add exactly three tablespoons of water into the jaggery and oil mixture. Vigorously stir the mixture until the jaggery has fully dissolved.
For those looking to boost the healthiness of their atta cookies or add a satisfying crunch to their jeera cookies or biscuits, consider incorporating 3 tablespoons of oats. Keep in mind; this step is entirely optional.
For a successful recipe, be sure to incorporate two essential elements: whole wheat flour (also referred to as atta) and cumin seeds (or jeera powder) into the wet mixture. I used Jeera Powder instead of Jeera seeds which gives you different flavors, and you can sprinkle extra cumin seeds on the cookies at the end before baking the final Jeera atta biscuits.
Now add salt, baking powder, and baking soda to the mixture.
To begin, mix all the ingredients together and knead until a soft dough forms. If you prefer a quicker method, you may use a food processor to knead the dough. If required, add some amount of water while making the dough soft.
